Kaam runs this site for the households hiring through it. Here is what we collect, why, and for how long.
What we collect
What you write in the form (name, WhatsApp number, age, area, experience and salary), your required CV, and optional information you choose to share: a recorded introduction, evidence video or LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram profile links. We also collect limited technical data: a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, your browser type, and which ad or link brought you here. Profile links are for job-relevant human review, not automatic scoring.
Why
Only to review your application, to contact you about this role or similar roles on Kaam, and to stop spam. If you give a reference, we may call them about your work.
Who can see it
Only the hiring team for the household you applied to. When your application is complete, the team's admins get an email with your details (name, WhatsApp number, age, area, experience, salary, your reference and your answers), buttons to decide, and private links to your video and CV. Those video and CV links stop working after 7 days, or sooner once your application moves on; the decision links stop after 14 days. The site runs on trusted services: Vercel (hosting and video storage), Neon (database) and Resend (email). If you came from a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may record that you visited and whether you completed an application. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Your form answers: up to 12 months after you apply, so we can contact you about similar roles. After that we delete them, and the review emails about you in the hiring team's inboxes. Your video and CV are used only for your application, and are deleted with the rest of your details.
Your choices
Use your private link to see your application or change your video. To have your details deleted sooner, email hiring@usekaam.com with your reference code: we delete your answers, your video and CV, and the review emails about you.
